<span data-contrast="auto">Tom Dröscher is a Senior Consultant and has been working at Consentec since November 2019. He studied Business Administration and Engineering, specializing in Electrical Power Engineering, at RWTH Aachen University. His fields of expertise include the model-based analysis of future power systems, with a particular focus on transmission networks.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span> <span data-contrast="auto">A central area of his work is integrated market and grid modelling. In particular, he works on the flow-based representation of cross-border transmission capacities, grid operation and redispatch simulations, as well as the assessment of transmission grid expansion needs. In addition, he analyses the grid and system integration of renewable energy sources and quantifies the associated grid and infrastructure costs.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span>
