New study commissioned by GIE published
We are pleased to have contributed to the current GIE study on the role of hydrogen infrastructure in a sector-coupled European energy system. As part of the joint work with FfE and ConGas, we were primarily responsible for the electricity grid modeling and thereby contributed to the analysis of interactions between electricity, gas, and hydrogen infrastructure. The study highlights the importance of integrated infrastructure planning for ensuring a secure, resilient, and climate-neutral energy system in Europe.
The study is published here.
