Max Wertenbruch
Max Wertenbruch has been working as a Consultant at Consentec since September 2022. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Energy Economics and Engineering, with a particular focus on the economic viability of renewable energy sources. At Consentec, Max works on issues at the interface between grid operation, system analysis, and energy market regulation. His main focus of expertise includes analyzing and assessing future challenges for electricity networks in the context of the energy transition. This encompasses, in particular, supply task forecasts, modeling of demand and generation developments, as well as studies on asset operation in transmission networks — including congestion management, frequency control, and system security. In addition, Max contributes to projects related to system restoration following large-scale blackouts and the continued developed network tariff structures aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, and incentive mechanisms in grid usage.
