New report commissioned by VKU and ZVEI

In the current debate on electricity prices in Germany, there is also talk of possible federal subsidies to reduce grid fees. In this context, Consentec has analysed the practical feasibility and distribution effects of various options for such subsidies in a recently <a href="https://www.vku.de/presse/pressemitteilungen/neues-gutachten-im-auftrag-von-vku-und-zvei-belegt-anpassungsbedarf-bei-netzentgelten/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published report</a>(ger) for the VKU and ZVEI associations. The result is that, in addition to the frequently discussed subsidies for transmission grid fees, subsidies to reduce the surcharges levied together with the grid fees should also be considered in order to achieve more balanced relief effects.
