Short report “Beschaffung von Netzbooster-Kapazitäten als Systemdienstleistung: Machbarkeit eines “Systemboosters”” published
How can large-scale battery energy storage systems contribute not only to the electricity market but also to relieving congestion in transmission networks? A new policy paper commissioned by Amprion demonstrates how grid booster functionalities can be efficiently deployed as a market-based procured ancillary service (“System Booster”), thereby reducing grid costs and complementing the expansion of the electricity transmission network. The policy paper has been published here (ger).
