Study on the future European “Flexibility Need Assessment” published

The European Electricity Market Regulation requires for a European “Flexibility Need Assessment” to be carried out in future. In a study for Agora Energiewende, we investigated what such an assessment could look like in order to actually provide additional valuable insights and information - and how it could be differentiated from a Resource Adequacy Assessment. The study and an accompanying set of slides have now been published by Agora Energiewende.
