Jonas Derichs
Jonas Derichs is a Consultant at Consentec, having joined the company in July 2023. He studied Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Energy and Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. His areas of expertise include conceptual and quantitative analyses of network tariff systems in both the electricity and gas sectors. He also analyses electricity networks, focusing on network operation, design and future expansion requirements. A further focus of his work is renewable energy modelling. He develops and applies methods for modelling wind and solar PV generation at high spatial and temporal resolution and assesses the potential for expanding these technologies.
